counseling approaches
The greatest predictor of client success is building meaningful relationship with a counselor who is a good fit for you, your personality, and your needs. With that said, I utilize an eclectic approach to counseling because no one theory is best for every client. By utilizing aspects from many different theories, I am able to serve more members of our community with a variety of needs. My goal is to make sure that the work we are doing is constructive and actually helping. Keeping goals and solutions in mind will make sure that we are being efficient with our time and your resources. Nevertheless, if after your initial session you don’t feel that we are a good fit, that’s okay! I want to help as best as I can, and if that means referring you to someone who would be a better fit, then so be it.
